Start off by locating the oil drain plug at the base of the engine called the sump. It is normally a 14mm bolt located more to the back of the sump. Once you have located this you can go a head and position your container to catch the oil that will be leaked from the engine.
Once the container to catch the oil is in place you can go ahead and use your 14mm spanner or socket to remove the oil drain plug from the sump. Once this is done oil will begin to run from the sump to the container below.
While the oil is being drained from the engine you can now go ahead and remove the oil filter. Firstly locate the oil filter, once located grip firmly and turn in an anti-clockwise direction.Continue to unscrew until the filter is totally unscrewed then it can be removed. Once the filter is removed clean the area that it screws onto with a clean piece of cloth.
The new fiter can now be installed. Firstly once the new filter is removed from its packaging if the rubber seal on the filter is not already lubricated with oil or light grease then you might want to do this. You can use a few drops of the new oil to lightly lubircate the seal of the oil filter.
Once the seal is lubricated it is simply a matter of screwing the new filter back in place. Making sure that it is securly tightend.
